Ted is the Founder and Managing Director of TWH Property Maintenance Ltd, with a lifetime of hands-on experience in painting, decorating, carpentry and general property maintenance. Having worked as a painter, decorator, carpenter and all-round handyman since his teenage years, a passion for practical work and problem-solving has always been at the heart of what he does.
Eight years after starting his own business, Ted Wood The Handyman, TWH Property Maintenance Ltd was established, marking the next chapter in his journey. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength, built on Ted’s commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail and outstanding customer service.
Ryan is one of our Associate Directors, bringing a wealth of experience and a keen eye for detail to every project. After graduating from Swansea University, Ryan built a successful career in the cocktail bar industry, working his way up to General Manager before making a career change five years ago.
Swapping late nights and cocktail shakers for early starts, hammers and paintbrushes, Ryan has quickly established himself as a valued member of the team. His combination of precision, efficiency and attention to detail ensures every job is completed to an exceptionally high standard, making him a real asset to the business.
Dean is one of our Associate Directors, bringing a wealth of experience, skill and attention to detail to the team. After 17 years working in the waste disposal industry and driving HGVs throughout London, Dean made the decision three years ago to leave the traffic behind and pursue a career in painting and decorating.
Since making the switch, Dean has developed a strong reputation for his precision and workmanship, particularly when it comes to cutting in, silicone work and wall repairs. His experience, steady approach and commitment to achieving a high-quality finish make him a valued member of the team.
Alex joined TWH at the start of 2026, bringing with him over 10 years of experience in carpentry and a wealth of knowledge in his trade.
Alex takes great pride in his work and has a particular passion for the finishing side of carpentry. With a sharp eye for detail and a naturally meticulous approach, he is dedicated to achieving a high-quality finish on every project. A bit of a perfectionist, Alex’s commitment to getting the details just right makes him a valuable addition to the TWH team.
